The Pro duo goes on sale today, while the foldable iPhone Duo lands next month

Apple fans, your wallets have been warned. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max officially went on sale in Malaysia today, and that’s just the warm-up act before Apple’s first-ever foldable phone arrives next month.

Apple The Exchange TRX opened at 8am to a big crowd, with the first person showing up at 4.30am. Now that’s commitment.

Here’s what the iPhone 18 Pro will set you back:

  • 256GB – RM5,499
  • 512GB – RM6,499
  • 1TB – RM8,499
  • 2TB – RM11,499

The iPhone 18 Pro Max costs RM500 more for each storage option. For that extra RM500, you get a bigger 6.9-inch screen instead of 6.3 inches, plus more battery, with up to 29 hours of typical use compared to 23 hours on the Pro. The trade-off is weight, at 249g against 211g. Everything else, from the chip to the cameras, is the same on both.

Both come in four colours: Burgundy, Glacier, Silver and Black.

If you’d rather wait for something really new, Apple’s first foldable, the iPhone Duo, opens for pre-order on 16 October and hits stores on 23 October, priced from RM9,499. We’ll have more on it closer to launch.

Grab now or tunggu?

If you want the latest iPhone right now, the Pro and Pro Max are ready to grab. But if you have been enviously looking at your friends’ Android foldables for a while now, the Duo is just a month away.
