Comedy fans, consider yourselves warned. British comedian Jimmy Carr is returning to Kuala Lumpur with his brand-new live show, Laughs Funny, on 13 January 2027 at Mega Star Arena.
Known for his lightning-fast one-liners, unapologetically dark humour and fearless audience interaction, Carr is bringing an entirely new set of material to KL. Nobody in the room is entirely safe from a well-timed punchline, so if you’re eyeing the front row, just make sure you’re comfortable with the consequences.
For first-timers and seasoned fans alike, the organisers have shared an unofficial survival guide:
- Don’t make eye contact unless you’re prepared to become part of the show.
- Don’t hold back your laughter. He’ll probably hear you anyway.
- Think fast. His punchlines come quicker than you can prepare a comeback.
- Most importantly, have a sense of humour. You’re going to need it.
