Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera and the two-part De Gaulle saga lead the programme with stories of history, resilience and French cultural heritage, while The Chorus and La Grande Vadrouille give audiences the chance to rediscover iconic French cinema on the big screen.

“The French Film Festival invites everyone to experience the richness of French cinema. This year, we are proud to present a carefully curated selection of 10 French films,” said Éléonore Dalzon, Cultural Manager of Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur.

Michel Gonçalves, Director of Alliance Française de Penang, added: “We believe that culture lives through encounters. What could be better than a cinema to get caught up in the moment and share those emotions?”
